Refine your project idea with the CNRS Institutes

The Institutes' European working groups will advise you on the drafting of the scientific sections of your project. Some of them can offer a mock-up exam to prepare for the ERC oral session.

The ERC National Contact Point, based at the CNRS, provides information, assistance and advice to all project holders from French institutions.

ERC working group

The ERC working group is coordinated by the European Research and International Cooperation Department (DERCI) and the Mission for the Monitoring of and Relations with CNRS Regional Offices and Institutes (MPR). It includes all departments involved in the monitoring of ERC grants, namely: Legal Affairs (DAJ), Accounts and Financial Information (DCIF), European Research and International Cooperation (DERCI), Human Resources (DRH), Financial Strategy, Real Estate and Modernization (DSFIM) departments, and the Mission for the Monitoring of and Relations with CNRS Regional Offices and Institutes (MPR). The ERC group aims to improve the monitoring of ERC laureates, whether they are based at the CNRS or an affiliated institution.

Prepare your application with a project manager

The partnership and technology transfer department (SPV) representatives in your regional office will assist you through the various stages of the project. They should be your privileged contacts: they will give you all the necessary information and will advise you in the drafting of the proposal, budgeting process as well as the implementation and monitoring of the project.
